~Beading Grandma~

Sylvia Allison, an author, a poet and better known now as Beading Granny, 60 years old, lovingly handcrafts her own uniquely designed jewelry. My jewelry is made here in my home in North Carolina whom I share with my soul mate and best friend, George. When I'm not making and designing jewelry, I spend time with my two sisters, which is just on Fridays when the younger sister is off work. I enjoy keeping my grandchildren on weekends, as they love to spend the night with Mawmaw and Pawpaw. Four days a week I baby-sit my great-granddaughter for her mom and at my age this is a blessing. I have been blessed with three wonderful sons. They all are married with families of their own and live close by unlike children who live in another state. We are a close-knit family and these days and times, which is special! We are grandparents of seven grandchildren and joyfully anticipating the birth of a little girl due around July 8th of this year and a little boy or girl on November 17th. Am blessed to be able to enjoy my new one great granddaughter, Kenzie at my age. They are truly a blessing and I thank God everyday for the strength and energy to enjoy them. Now if I had some of their energy that would be wonderful!
